【Wedding｜婚禮】Wedding @ Fort Canning Park, Singapore | 新加坡福康宁公园的婚礼

Was mentioned about I'll be joining MiaoMiao's mom best friend's daughter wedding, so here I'm at the Fort Canning Park, and this reminds me again the last wedding I went...I was also being invited to attend the wedding unexpectedly...so again...I wasn't wearing something like going for wedding duh!!!

上次说到我会跟妙妙参加她妈妈好朋友女儿的婚礼，所以我们就朝着地点出发，但却找了好久都找不到，于是她妈妈就打通电话询问，几经辛苦。。。终于来到这个地方，等待她妈妈到厕所换上参加婚礼的礼服。。。又来了。。。记得上次我又是这样。。。完全没有准备下又被邀请去参加婚礼。。。虽然说穿着要勉强可以过得去。。。但要是很奇怪！！！

"Fort Canning is a small hill slightly more than 60 metres high in the southeast portion of the island city-state of Singapore, within the Central Area that forms Singapore's central business district. The hill was recorded as Bukit Larangan prior to the arrival of Stamford Raffles in 1819, which means "Forbidden Hill" in Malay language. Raffles was told of how local settlers were wary of ascending the hill as they believed it was the site of palaces built by their ancestral kings."

她那婚礼就在这上面礼堂旁边举行。。。我本来就跟妙妙说我坐在这里等就好。。。好了你们再来找我。。。但拖拖拉拉的又被她妈妈叫了上去。。。

The wedding still under preparation, felt so exciting because it was my first time seeing this type of outdoor wedding!!! But I wasn't dare to step more closer to take picture, was kinda worry others may came and asked who am I or any kind of questions that I don't know how to answer lo!!!

我还是第一次参加这些户外的婚礼啊！！！   兴奋但还是觉得很不好意识，我跟妙妙说“我需不需要也要包个红包给他们啊？”   她就说不用，不用，我妈妈给的那份就已经够多了。。。因为那红包里是我帮她准备的！！！   但妙妙还是站在远远观看，因为她穿的穿着也是很普通普通的便服，我俩就一直不好意思从头到尾。。。

Congrats to the newlyweds!!! And Happy wedding!!!

It was pretty fortunate just right after the ceremony end, it started to rain...so we had to run inside the hall at beside if not we all gonna be all wet!!!

In the end I asked MiaoMiao "Are they working in Singapore or one of each side is Singaporean? If not so why they're having wedding here from all the way from Indo?" She said "Nope, they're from Indo, they just choose to have their wedding here only!!!"

Oic!!! Hehe...I always like to ask some silly questions and I know she get used to it already lo!!! =]

真是恭喜，恭喜啊！！！   祝他们新婚快乐，幸福开心！！！

当仪式一完成时候，慢慢地我们感觉到毛毛雨，而且还越下越大，我们大伙儿都急急忙忙的跑进旁边那礼堂屋内，而工作人员都很快的把食物桌子抬进去。。。还是是在完成后才下雨，不然大家都变成落汤鸡了！！！

过后我好奇的问妙妙“他们为什么会在新加坡举行婚礼啊？   他们是在新加坡工作住还是他们其中一方是新加坡人啊？”   妙妙说“没有啊，他们都是印尼人，只是他们选择在新加坡举行婚礼而已！”   

噢！！！   我就是那么白目的每次都会因好奇的问很多问题。。。妙妙她～～～已经习惯了，哈哈哈！！！

Unexpected Malay's Wedding Invitation

As a Malaysian Chinese,

have you ever been to a Malay's wedding???

This was my first time attended to an unexpected Malay's wedding!!!

Why was it unexpected???

The story got to begin with my HongKong backpack trip!!!
Because of that trip I met this France girl,
she told me that she wants to meet me before her trip to Australia!!!
So she decides to stay in KL for three days,
on Friday she thought I was working,
on Saturday both of us were just waiting for each other to email to set a time to meet up =.=!!!
Finally we got to meet on Sunday,
and luckily the place she asked to meet up is at Batu Caves (cause even though I'm from KL, I don't really know how to go a lot of places in KL!!!)

身家这个多元种族的国家的华人们，

你们是否有参加过马来同胞的婚礼呢？？？

这个突如其来的婚礼邀请真是意想不到的！！！

事情一切开始于我香港单身潜逃旅行，

因为那次旅行我认识了这位法国朋友，

因为熟络所以她说她在去澳洲前要来马来西亚一趟！！！

星期五的时候她已经到了，

星期六很没有默契的她在等我的电邮而我也在等她的电邮，

所以只有到星期天才见面！！！

其实蛮丢脸的说我是个路痴只是会去1U而已，

还好她说她星期天的时候会去黑风洞参观，

黑风洞就在我爸公司的附近嘛，

所以没有问题，呵呵！！！

I drive passed by this everyday,

but have never take a picture of it,

the last time I've been to this place,

I was just a primary school student!!!

As a lazy person like me,

I didn't go up,

I told her to call me after they're done!!!

("They" are referred to her friend who met in her hostel, one from Denmark and the other is local Malay guy)

About an hour later,

they called me told me that malay guy's friend just called up to tell that his sister wedding ceremony was around Batu Caves so he just invited us to join ceremony!

Okay, that's so out of sudden!!! 

＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊

每天都驾车经过，

但是从来都没有拍过照，

我最上次去的时候是小学，

这么懒惰的我当然没有跟他们一起爬上去，

（他们是指她在宿舍认识的一位丹麦人和一位在宿舍工作的马来人）

我跟他们说你们爬完后再打电话给我过后再看怎样。。。

很快的大概差不多一个小时，

他们就打电话给我了，

其中那一位马来朋友说他朋友的妹妹的婚礼就在Batu Caves附近很突然的邀请了他们和我一起去参加！！！

We're like VIP,

sit so near to the host's table!!!

我们好像贵宾这样被安排在很靠近这个主人家的桌子用餐！！！

Have been to so many Chinese wedding,

but for Malays wedding was the first time,

and the food are yummy!!! =]

华人结婚餐我就吃多了，

马来人的结婚餐还是第一次，

感觉很新鲜。。。而且很好吃！！！   ＝］

 In the middle of the meal,

someone send this to each of us!!!

吃到一半的时候，

有人送来这个！！！

After we done with the meal,
the bride and groom were just arrived!!!

吃完后不久，

新娘和新郎到了！！！

Finally got to see them,

the bride is so pretty!!!

终于看到他们了，

新娘很漂亮哦！！！

After they arrived,

they just walked straight to the hall,

begins with praying???

(not sure,

cause we're chitchatting!!!)

到了后，

他们直接进入礼堂祈祷！！！

（应该是吧，不是很确定，

因为我们那时候在聊天没有什么注意到！！！）

On the other side,

they're playing and singing of the hall!!!

在外面几个伴乐们很兴起的演奏起来！！！

This mc was so great,

cause at first we thought they play the songs from CD or something,

but surprisingly he was the one sang live!!!

这个司仪很厉害，

我们之前都以为他们是播放歌曲的，

没有想到全部都是他唱现场的，

真是惊叹！！！

一直怂恿了很久，

终于叫到我朋友去尝试这个给予祝福的过程！！！   ＝］

finally they can have their meal!!!

仪式结束后，

他们也用餐去了！！！

My friend got this as souvenir after the blessing part,

this reminds me of my form 2 english's literature "Bunga Telur and Belly Shoe"!!!

I sent my friends back to their hostel after the ceremony,

not sure when is it gonna be the next time for us to meet again???

Hahaha!!!

Maybe next year somewhere around April and May in France because of the air show!!! =]

那婚礼后我就送我朋友他们回去他们的宿舍了，

不知道我下次见到她的时候会不会是在法国呢？？？

哈哈哈！！！

有的话应该是明年的四，五月因为要配合航空展！！！    ＝］
