很幸運的今年又被抽中到世界宣明會的飢餓30大活動當義工啦。其實每一年我都會很擔心會中不到，因為參加人數眾多，不是每一位申請的都會被抽中。 幸好幸運女神的庇佑讓我再次被選上。

(All posts on this week might just as simple as this, part of reason is I don't have time until the coming weekend, and I don't want to let some of my posts get too "basi"! So this's more fresh to you right?? As it's just happened today!! =])

忙了两天，这么大型的活动终于完毕了，非常好玩，我明年还要再去参加！嘢！
（接下来这个星期的博文都会这么短，因为我需要到这周末才有时间，而且我也不想我有太多过期文写，所以尽量简短写一写，在有时间的时候，周末在长篇大论的记录下来！=] ）

【30 Hour Famine｜饥饿30】 Kick Out Hunger | 踢走饥饿

I'm so busy to have long post recently, so just here to make a quick update of today, before I go to bed! I went to this 30 hours famine event today, I was so fun and joy!! The best part is we got to watch the artists rehearsal was just right infront of us! But it was kinda unfortunate to say, we got to take pictures of them at first, but later on we got prohibited by the staffs... Well! They said they're here to rehearsal so please no pictures of them...okay!!

由于最近很忙写长长的博文，所以尽量在入睡前，来个短短的更新！今天出席了世界宣明会饥饿三十的活动！超级有趣好玩，最惊喜的就是可以很近距离的看到明星，但拍了几张照片后就被告知今天他们是来彩排的，所以不让我们拍照哦！

【WorldVision｜世界宣明會】I'm FINished WITH FINS｜我不翅了

Even though I'm very busy on my work, daily life and so on my countless interests, but still......I'm find some time to join Tzu Chi and World Vision as a volunteer. Thus I attended an event briefing organized by World Vision last Saturday, it's about "Shark Savers" event!!! And I'll at Mid Valley as a volunteer for this event on March 22!!!

What's "Shark Savers"???
Due to enormous killing on sharks because of shark fins, they're threatened with extinction, so we must stop eating shark fins because no buying, no killing!!!

A lot of people has false perception on shark, such as shark eats human and impression from image about shark's with its sharp and scary teeth!!! Is kind of like shark's movie which has been influenced about shark eat human once they've seen one; photographer wanted to have the best shoot of shark, so they try to use small fish as prey to attract shark and catch the image of preying moment; according to scientist, shark do not like to eat human, they started to swim forward to people because it has sensitive smell sense, once human blood in the sea, they smelled it and they wondered what was it so they try to use they mouth to bite it to check it out as they don't have hands to do it, so by that...with its single bite, it can kill people but once they have realized it isn't its prey then they'll stop and swim away!!!

As from Asian culture, shark fin soup is kind of like a "must have" dish on the table for wedding dinner since 50years ago, wondering they're considered as cultural heritage or just to prove as richness in the family??? Is that really have to do that???

Maybe you don't know about this......Malaysia is the eight highest catchers globally and fourth highest importer globally, these are because we've highly demand, as they're not in Chinese wedding but Indians and Malays wedding as well!!!

It killed up to 100million sharks per year, in such a highly demand everyone year, how can sharks to be reproduce in such a short period???

Maybe someone will say......then just banned the catching and killing!!! A piece of shark fin can sell for Rm600, most of the catchers are poor fisherman, they're their family only financial supporter, do you think they're willing to give up this chance to make more money???

So what can do is curb demand, tackle the suppliers, when we stop consuming we reduce overall consumption, so we cripple the market thus they might stop ordering them...actually......why do we need to eat shark fin??? Or maybe some just buy it for decorations......

At last, back to human usual thought again "Why should I care? The shark has nothing to do with me, and most important is everyone did the same thing as well!!!" Have you every thought of sharks have existed for over 450millions years and now 1/3 of the species are threatened with extinctions. Sharks are crucial to oceanic health as a top predator and keystone species, it's like eliminating the apex predator and affects the entire food chain!!! Sharks eat stingrays and stingrays eat scallop and by now the stingray amount has increased...not only so, such as some "vegetarian fish" which eats algae, they always played as prey for sharks......without sharks they'll grow rapidly and the sea without algae, sea grass......can't imagine that......

Ocean + Sharks = a healthy abundance of ocean life

 

The Shark Savers event started in Singapore, Hong Kong then Taiwan and in Malaysia, it started last year in August. World Vision will have this "I'm FINished WITH FINS" campaign in Mid Valley  (South Court) for 12 days (March 19 to March 30), they've activities such as wear the shark costume to take picture to bring awareness to the issue, signature as a show of support, donations and etc... Please do check it out when you're around and I'll be there as volunteer on 22 of March, maybe hit on me when you're there!!!

虽然忙碌的生活工作还有加上我数不尽的嗜好，但是还是需要抽空参加慈济和世界宣明会的活动，上个星期六的时候就参加了世界宣明会举办的“护鲨行动”的讲解会，因为在来临的周六（March 22）我需要到Mid Valley当志工！！！

首先来解释何谓“护鲨行动”？？？

多年以来人们不受控制的捕捉鲨鱼，就是为了它们身上的鲨鱼翅，这样以来让鲨鱼的数量大量的减少，甚至已将近面临绝种的危机，所以我们必须停止吃鱼翅，因为没有买卖就没有捕杀！！！

鲨鱼其实并不可怕，因为在这次讲解会里我明白到为什么一向以来给人的印象是很凶狠的，为什么鲨鱼会吃人类？？？   一切开始于一些传媒电影，像是电影里鲨鱼吃人的题材，让大家觉得它是见人就吃的还海洋生物；摄影师为了要捕捉到最佳的画面所以尝试很多方法捕捉鲨鱼在猎食的情况而露出它尖锐的牙齿；根据研究指出鲨鱼不喜欢吃人类的，而是当人类受伤流血，让嗅觉敏感的鲨鱼嗅到所以游过来看个究竟，由于鲨鱼没有双手可以触碰所以就用它嘴巴去要咬看看，但可想可知。。。它那尖锐的牙齿一咬下去就是让人的肢体分解，而且当它咬下去后才发觉那不是它的食物所以它就游开了。。。

鱼翅是在华人传统五十多年前开始的，吃鱼翅真的是所谓的传统还是因为要显示高贵的气派？？？   真的有这个必要吃它吗？？？

也许这个你不知道马来西亚竟然是在全球排行第八捕捉最多鲨鱼的国家，也是全球第四最多进口的国家，原来它不止在华人婚宴出现，而且在印度同胞和马来同胞的婚宴也是桌上的菜肴之一！！！

在一年内对鲨鱼的捕捉是将近一亿多只，这么庞大的捕捉量。。。可以想像鲨鱼们还来得及繁殖吗？？？

或许会有人提议那么让渔夫不要捕捉就好了嘛！！！   鲨鱼的一片鱼翅是可以让他们卖得Rm600，他们是需要养活一家大小，一片鱼翅可以让他们赚取这么多的生活费，那你可认为他们会放弃这道赚钱的管道吗？？？

所以没有买卖就没有捕杀，很多人误认为吃鱼翅是会帮助骨骼的胶质而且有些甚至是买回来当装饰品而已，真的有那样炫耀的必要吗？？？

回归人性的最根本。。。“鲨鱼绝种，是它们的事，不管我的事，而且很多人都这样！”   何曾想过。。。鲨鱼在海洋生存了450多亿年，现在三分之一的鲨鱼要面临绝种的危机！！！   鲨鱼在食物连里是扮演着一个非常重要的角色，因为鲨鱼吃Stingray，stinray吃scallop。。。没有了鲨鱼，stingray的数目就会大量的增加，相同的scallop也会面临绝种的危机；不但如此很多素食的海洋动物也是鲨鱼的猎食，没有了鲨鱼，素食动物就会不断增加，很多海底的植物是无从生存啊。。。没有鲨鱼就没有海洋。。。

这个“护鲨行动”开始于新加坡，香港，台湾，去年八月来到马来西亚，世界宣明会会在Mid Valley所举办的活动为期12天（March 19至March 30），现场会有可以穿上鲨鱼的装扮拍照，在场签名以示支持以及募捐等等。。经过那边的不妨可以到场支持一下，而我则会在三月二十二日在场当志工，有缘可相见！！！

这个活动完全是出于个人意愿只是想要宣传这个活动，不会得到任何什么奖状还是礼物回报，假如大众的博客们有意想要帮忙宣传或参与这个有意义的活动，可以留下网址或联络我！！！

Might be is kinda late to blog about this! Was busy helping my sister make the board with the Typhoon Haiyan news on for Tzu Chi, which let them use to ask for donation all around restaurant or dining area!!!

MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

Latest updates (updated 13 November):

• An MSF team was able to reach the north of Cebu island this morning by car. Initial assessments are that the outlying islands are the most affected by the typhoon. Displaced people on the northern Cebu coast seem mostly to be hosted by their families and communities. The local hospital was overwhelmed by patients immediately after the passage of the typhoon, but received support from other health centres and hospitals in Cebu and is coping relatively well now. The team then went by ferry to Bantayan Island where they will stay overnight to continue the assessment.
• Another MSF team travelled by plane to Guiuan in the east of Samar, an area hit first and hard by the typhoon and from where there has been very little information coming through. The team reports that the damage there is extensive and the needs huge. A full team plans to return to Guiuan tomorrow by helicopter to launch activities immediately.
• An MSF team also carried out an assessment of Panay Island by helicopter and another team is currently in Ormoc and will be surveying the situation in western Leyte.
• One cargo plane has arrived in Cebu and all stock is now off-loaded. Two more planes are due to arrive in the coming hours.
• Emergency teams from Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) have been in Cebu city (second largest city in Philippines) with the nearest fully operational airport to the disaster area, since Saturday 9 November.
• MSF is strengthening its team (currently 23) and there will be a total of 102-107 staff – including doctors, nurses, surgeons, logisticians, psychologists and water and sanitation experts – on the ground in the next few days. Areas of intervention: currently based in Cebu, but teams going north of Cebu, also to Tacloban and Tanauan; then planning for islands west of Cebu (Panay and Negros); Guiuan town to the east (reportedly completely flattened, with no or little aid getting in); the area between Cebu and Tacloban; North Samar; and possibly Bantayan and north of Palawan. Open to assess other areas according to emerging needs.
• It’s a logistical nightmare. Transport links to the area have been seriously disrupted, which has made access particularly difficult. Tacloban airport is badly damaged and roads are blocked by debris. Bad weather on Tuesday prevented the team from flying from Cebu to Tacloban as the plane was grounded. The airport in Cebu is seriously congested – our cargo planes currently in the air will most likely have to divert to Manila because it will not be possible to land in Cebu.
• Types of injuries we expect to see are fractures and lacerations/ cuts. It is important that people receive treatment as soon as possible to avoid complications and infections. There are lots of dead bodies and management of this is an issue. Outbreaks of diseases are also an issue, such as tetanus, leptospirosis (a parasitic disease, contracted from floodwater carrying infected animal waste – see note at end), and diarrhoea-related diseases.
• Medical structures have been damaged or destroyed, with medical equipment and supplies washed away.
• There is massive lack of information on the situation in rural and remote areas.
• A medical team is trying to get to Tacloban, a town devastated when the typhoon first struck the coast. That team will include two doctors and an orthopaedic specialist. In Tacloban, we plan to support a hospital that is still functioning, and to support provision of medical care to the injured at the city’s airport. We will also send teams to do explos by boat in the surrounding area, and may use a helicopter to access hard-to-reach areas.
• Limited information is currently available on the situation west of Cebu, but it is estimated that the main needs will be shelter, water and food. Teams are currently organising supplies of drugs, medical equipment and equipment to purify water, as well as essential items for distribution such as plastic sheeting, cooking items, jerrycans and hygiene kits. Teams will also monitor possible outbreaks of infectious diseases.
• MSF is also sending hundreds of tonnes of medical and relief items which will arrive in Cebu within the next few days in nine cargo planes – four from Dubai, two from Belgium, one from Panama, one from the Netherlands and one from France. The humanitarian cargo includes medical kits for treating the wounded, equipment for medical consultations, tetanus vaccines, relief items such as tents and hygiene kits, water and sanitation equipment and, if needed, an inflatable hospital.

近几年很多筹款活动似乎都不太安全，搞得大家都担心捐款去不到救灾中心，在这里有两个非政府注资的组织，相信大家都蛮熟悉的（不用担心捐款会去不到还是好像红色字会的情况出现），無國界醫生/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)和马来西亚世界宣明会！！！

無國界醫生/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)

無國界醫生是一個獨立的國際醫療人道救援組織，致力為受武裝衝突、疫病和天災影響，以及遭排拒於醫療體系以外的人群提供緊急醫療援助。無國界醫生只會基於人們的需要提供援助，不受種族、宗教、性別或政治因素左右。

菲律賓風災最新消息 (11月13日)

菲律賓上周五遭颱風蹂躪後，無國界醫生的緊急救援隊正設法趕往受災最嚴重的地區。由於道路被瓦礫阻塞，隊伍難以前往萊特省（Province of Leyte）的塔克洛班市（Tacloban），強風和豪雨亦導致很多飛往當地受損機場的航班取消。

無國界醫生菲律賓緊急項目統籌狄純娜醫生說︰「這是一場災難，當地完全陷入混亂。來往災區的交通極為困難，令災民難以獲得援助。我們首要是接觸身處最偏遠地區的人群。他們是最難接觸到的一群，因而往往最後才獲得急需的援助。」

無國界醫生在當地的救援人員將會在未來數天增加至100人，包括醫生、護士、外科醫生、後勤人員、心理學家和水利衛生專家。8架滿載救援物資的貨機正往從無國界醫生多個物資中心趕往菲律賓，物資包括醫療用品、搭建棲息處的物料、衛生套裝和水利衛生工具。

醫療設施受損或被摧毀，醫療用品被風暴潮沖走，很多塔克洛班的傷者正在市內的機場聚集。無國界醫生一支隊伍將會在機場提供醫療護理，並支援仍然能夠運作的醫院。隊伍亦計劃以船隻和直昇機前往周邊地區，特別是宿霧以西的島嶼和以東的吉萬市（Guiuan），向災民提供緊急醫療援助。由於通訊網絡受損，目前仍只有少量關於多個偏遠地區和郊區損毀情況的資訊。

狄純娜醫生說︰「那裡肯定有未能獲得醫療照顧的傷者。很多房屋和建築物因強風而倒塌，我們預期會有一些重傷的災民。即使是較細的傷口受到感染，亦可能導致嚴重的影響，隨著日子過去，災民未能獲得醫療護理，這快將成為一個重大的擔憂。」

無國界醫生將重點放於應對緊急和迫切的醫療需要，包括為災民接種破傷風疫苗。狄純娜醫生說︰「其次是所有的東西，棲息處、飲用水和食物等，他們失去了一切。」

"Making A Greater Impact" Campaign

I'm so busy recently,

beside from Tzu Chi, I wish I can join World Vision too and continue my CAD drawing,

(Because of blogging, I was kind of behind of my CAD drawing, felt so sorry for it)

Which means I might not have to visit back your blog in the future!

(Even so~~~

I might not able to comment on every post,

but I'll go through every post of it,

cause sometimes the comment loading take some time,

since that I still be able to catch up with you guys!!!)

老实说我最近都很忙，

除了慈济之外，我还想多参与世界宣明会，

以及画图，

（话说因为放太多时间在部落格，

我已经荒废我的图很久了，

有点内疚。。。）

所以不会再很常去你们的部落格留言，

但是我有时间一定会回去！！！

（还有不说你不知道，=.=!!!

我虽然没有留言，

但是我每一个每一篇我都有很用心的看，

所以不要以为我没有心肝哦！！！

只是留言又需要一些时间给它load，

所以可能只有最新的那几篇有留言而已）

Let's talk about World Vision,

(Actually I wanted to have longer holiday,

but I cut it short because I've joined this "Making A Greater Impact" Campaign which is organized by World Vision as a volunteer)

The event is at KL Festival City, Setapak on 27 September to 29 September

Which means until tomorrow,

for those around that area can go and have look,

and I'm on duty tomorrow!!! =]

Basically our job is

• to approach shoppers to promote World Vision and Child Sponsorship
• to explain/answer about Child Sponsorship
• to facilitate the sale for merchandise and collect donations at the merchandise booth

I think is the venue problem,

cause stand for whole day,

we just be able to approach two sponsors successfully,

which is why make me decide to be one of the sponsor on the spot!!! Yeah!!! =]

With Child Sponsorship, you'll provide children in need with access to life-saving basics like

• clean water
• nutritious food,
• healthcare,
• education and more...

For a child from Asian countries is RM65 per month

For a child from non-Asian countries (Africa & Lebanon) is RM80 per month

The reason for different rates is in Africa have built-in HIV/AIDS awareness, education and the community's overall development!

As a sponsor you will receive

• a photo of your sponsored child and information about his/her community
• Annual Progress Report on his/her wellbeing
• World Vision newsletters and Annual Reviews

The monthly contribution of RM65/RM80 would pooled together with that of other sponsors to implement long-term, community-wide changes that help break the vicious cycle of poverty.

The sponsorship would last a few years or the entire duration of the community's development, but once the child and his/her community regains health and self-reliance, you can sponsor a new child in need!

In my family,

my eldest sister has sponsored three children,

for the rest of my sisters and brother in laws,

each of them has sponsored one child,

I'm kind of late!!! (What a shamed!!! =[)

My feedback after my first shift is...

kind of hard to approach people to sponsor a child,

have no idea what reason can it be...

(maybe because of the China Red Cross incident that happened last time???)

Some people you felt they might interested with it,

but once you walk towards they'll have a face like you're some kind like "direct sale" and said "no" to you

(but frankly speaking I'm that type of person always try to avoid "direct sale" stuffs)

So for those two that "successfully" approach is because they already knew about it and once your try to explain to them, they just getting more and more interested,

To be honest, I'm so happy when we're be able to have the first sponsor of the day!!!

(This happiness is totally different with those salesmen who be able to sign their first business with the customer, cause they got the profit from it, which is where their salary from)

说到世界宣明会，

（我其实可以再玩久一点再回来，

但是我报名参与了这个世界宣明会举办的《爱蔓延，让世界更美好》的儿童助养活动，

所以才放早一个星期回来！！！）

这个活动在文良港的KL Festival City Mall举办，

活动延续三天

• 9月27日至9月28日

所以说明天还会还有，

明天有在附近一带的人可以去看看，

我明天晚上还有当班！！！   ＝］

基本上我在那边的工作是

• 向大众介绍世界宣明会和儿童助养计划
• 给予儿童计划的解释／解答
• 售卖世界宣明会纪念品凑款

很明确的说，

他们好像选错了地点，

站了一整天只有成功找到两个助养人，

所以犹豫很久的我。。。就是那股冲动所以助养了一个亚洲的儿童！！！    ＝］

儿童助养计划是能为有需要的儿童提供援救生命的生活必需品，如：

• 干净水源，
• 营养粮食，
• 医疗保健，
• 教育计划等等。。。

助养一个亚洲的小孩每月RM65

助养一个非亚洲的小孩（如非洲地区）每月80

为什么有差别呢？

因为非洲地区比较多爱滋病患的问题而且很多方面的设备还不到很完善的状态！

当你成为助养人之后，你将会收到什么资料？

• 您助养孩童的照片，个人资料，他／她地区的见解和需要
• 助养童的年度进展报告
• 世界宣明会的助养人简报和年度汇报
• 您还能够通过信件与助养童建立友谊，更可以参加世界宣明会主办的探访团与他／她见面

资助费是直接给助养童吗？

助养费将结合其他助养人的助养费，用以展开长期性的社会发展计划，帮助每一个家庭摆脱赤贫的恶性循环。

助养维持多久？

可以维持一年或数年直到整个社区的发展完成为止。当孩童和其社区已经能够自立时，可以选择助养另一名儿童。

其实不用说太多，

我那爱心的大姐从以前就已经助养了三个，

而我每个姐姐和姐夫都有一个，

我算是慢了的了（惭愧中！）

其实当志工期间还蛮难真的说服到人助养的，

不知道是什么原因，

（莫非是受到那个中国的红十字会所影响？？？）

一些你以为他们会有兴趣的，

他们就是一脸感觉你是推销产品似的说不要！

（因为我是这样啦！）

唯一成功找到的是他们一开始就有兴趣的，然后再经过讲解就会立刻答应要助养了，

说实话找到第一个助养人的时候真的很开心！！！

（这种开心跟那种找人家买推销产品的不一样，因为他们那些是部分的薪水的那种）

忙完了一切，一切。。。终于有时间坐下来，休息了。。。在还没开始前事由营员们作出的表演，他们好像是某个州的营会举办的。。。不知道为什么他人的营会会有这样的活动，但我的没有。。。不过还好没有。。。（没有表演都已经这么头痛的，假如有，都不知道要怎样。。。）

Nice right?? While the artists were singing, everyone was lighting up their phone flash light follow the rhythm to waving along......

在歌手唱歌的时候全场都拿起手机随着歌曲摆动，场景很漂亮啊。。。

There're so many people....and some artists were perfuming on the stage...but mostly I don't know who are they and I fell asleep even though I was siting but can't stop the tiredness......

好多好多人。。。但我当时都太累了。。。也没有去注意有什么节目。。。坐着都睡着去。。。

What brought me up was I finally can see someone who I can tell who they're......but unfortunately that moment I had went to restroom...inside the restroom, I roughly heard Crystal Lee were singing 《Price Tag》 then I quickly back to the stadium......

Then the following artist was Bell YuTian singing 《雨是甜的》and 《带我走》......

Angelica Lee, the artist always passionate in charity, here she shared her experiences while she traveled to some poor countries...she said that's one place where she saw a child and his family were having difficulties in life...then she right away tell the mother "this child will be her 21st sponsor child...Wow!!! 21 children??? What a generous heart......which I want to say again nowadays people even can spend Rm65 or Rm85 for a single meal or few cups of Starbu*k drinks...why can't they sponsor a child for Rm65 or Rm85 just for a month???

由于我中场睡觉去了。。。都不知道过后有什么嘉宾出现。。。印象中第一位出现的好像是李馨巧，而且当时候我是去了厕所，是出来后听到她唱《Price Tag》，然后才急急忙忙赶回会场，过后她还唱了一首马来歌曲。。。

接下来是宇田献唱《雨是甜的》还有《帶我走》这电台唱播即使没有看歌词，常常一直这样听都会唱咯！！！

歌手表演后，接下来的出场的明星是李心潔，一向以来都跑在慈善最前线的她还分享了她到贫穷国家的探望孩童之旅，她还说当时她看到一位孩童家庭正在面临着生活困境，她当时就立下心来告诉孩童的母亲，这将会是她第21位助养的儿童，这样举动看到听到。。。真的很激动有感动。。。我不禁想说一个月Rm65或Rm85对现代人来说，可能吃一餐就已经吃掉了或喝几杯Starbu*k就没有了。。。为何这钱不拿来助养一位儿童呢？？？

过后有趙潔瑩和顏慧萍演唱《BFF》我个人是比较喜欢赵洁莹的声音，嘻嘻！！！

久违不见的林宇中演唱他的新专辑新歌，还有許亮宇，可晴，张起政，马嘉轩。。。
