Due to the Seeties event last month, request to recommended some local attractions, felt shame to say that I born in KL and grew up in KL but I just barely know about KL's attractions......so I decided to do little explore in my "hometown"......
********************************************************************************
Kuala Lumpur City Gallery is part of the ARCH group’s vision in promoting the country’s heritage and culture.
Got the info from its website mentioned this building was built in 1899 and its almost 115 year-old building!!!
********************************************************************************

This's located outside of the building, always saw quite a lot people have picture of this but never know where it is and now I knew it!!!
********************************************************************************
Guess the best way to attract visitors is FREE ADMISSION......
********************************************************************************
Once entered from the left side, there're some tags with different places attraction's entrance ticket price and service where tourists can get!!!
********************************************************************************
Further down to the left, just like this decoration so much......
********************************************************************************
Secondary school's history......how much can you remember???Realized most people just be in there to take pictures only, never pay attention on what's wrote on the board lo!!!
********************************************************************************
Spotted some briefing on the ceiling...maybe for those who's in secondary school should dropped by awhile, believed it might help you a lot...since history always considered as the most boring subject among those......(but for me, I like history the most because I found them are pretty interesting......hehe!!!)
********************************************************************************
The screen is kept on showing historical videos
********************************************************************************
So many heritage buildings and how many have you been to???
********************************************************************************
Always heard this mosque station while I used to take LRT last time, but don't now it has been built so long ago and the overall area is pretty big duh!!!
********************************************************************************

ReplyDeleteYes, the more interesting things inside...it's a really good place to visit!!!
Delete
DeleteThis building used to be kl memorial library and I used to go there then but not after it turned into kl city gallery. Did you enjoy yourself there? Were you there alone?
ReplyDeleteIs different...the KL Memorial Library still there, just beside it, but I don't have time to visit...And I was there alone!!! =]
DeleteThe kl memorial library used to occupy this whole building. You mean the new building beside it which is the kl library?
DeleteThat's what I saw the title set as the building aside la, but just to make sure, maybe I got to go back to double check again because I've more place to explore there also!!! =]
Delete
DeleteThat 'I <3 KL' board attracted me the most!
ReplyDeleteYes, when you were there should take a picture with it!!!
DeleteI go KL, u be my tour guide? hehe...
ReplyDeleteHehe, okay!!! okay!!! But attractions can la...food...I can't lo!!!
Delete
DeleteAlthough I'm from KL, I've only been to the national museum+bord park+national zoo once.. When I was a kid, haha.. If people from other place come to KL ask me become their guide, I also dunno where to take them, teehee.. Can only think of KLCC, Sunway Pyramid & Midvalley, hahahahaha..
ReplyDeleteHahaha!!! Same here...I've been those place when I was a kid, hehe!!!

ReplyDeleteYes, and more and more coming to share!!!
Deletegotta hide under the table liao....Never been there. So many tourist or nice place in KL but I have not step in before
ReplyDeleteYou should bring little J go visit someday like weekend, is really good for him!!! =]
Delete
DeleteThanks for the info, but I'm staying at KL, hardly for me to depart from Singapore!!
