My friend, MeiLing and I decided to visit one of our good friend in Singapore. But we didn't take any leave for that (oh no, not exactly, MeiLing did take a day leave on Saturday as Saturday is not a day off for her) anyway, so we were depart from Friday after work. Unfortunately it doesn't go exactly as we thought, the traffic was so jam, depart around 7pm we only reached Kulai about 2 something in the midnight.

Actually it was nothing to post about this, but I was just want to share these two scary or should say disgusting pictures when we stop by in the middle of somewhere of the highway to pump petrol. Have no idea what are they, bunch of insects or flies flying around the petrol station...from my imagination I was telling MeiLing "Is this some sort of the end of the world so all the insects evacuate from the forest...???"

it's already scary for two girls to go to this very quiet petrol station in nowhere alone.. hmmm maybe those are ants?? scary though in such a huge number..
ReplyDeleteHahaha, my friend and I always do scary thing, don't know where we got the guts...
DeleteThose insects may appear after the rain, attracted by lights. Place a basin underneath the lights, they will be drawn to the reflection of the light and drown and die...
ReplyDeleteIs it?? Not so sure about that though...
DeleteThat was a terrible jam and it took you both over 7 hours from KL to Kulai.
ReplyDeleteNormally when the insects are disturbed at night, by rains or people burning rubbish, they would fly away to nearest lights to keep warm.
Oh I see, next time I can explain to my friend about it.
Deleteif those are insects that appear after rain attracted by lights, then they could be termites.
ReplyDeleteHuh? Serious???
