February 2, 2014, Sunday
After done with our breakfast, we took taxi to Teluk Nipah (Nipah Beach), because here's a special place that on the first day till the third day of Chinese New Year, from 10 in the morning to 12 in the afternoon, within these 2~3 hours from Nipah Beach to Pulau Giam (Carol Island) the seawater in the middle will be at low tide so is like a "road" connected to the island!!! The arrow in orange is showing Pulau Giam (Carol Island) while the blue arrow is showing Pulau Mentangor (Mentangor Island)
****************************************
Pulau Mentangor (Mentangor Island)
It was nine something in the morning, so we just walk around that area!!! Found this unique tree, so I took a picture of it!!!
****************************************
Saw a lot of people camping here, it could be good experience for parents to bring their kids along!!!
****************************************
Even though is quite early but can see couples of people were there already!!!
****************************************
But......wonder why they bring the "stuffs" there but never clean up the place??? Maybe one of the reason is they didn't provide enough trash can......but if you bring "them" there, why can't you bring "them" back home or somewhere else to throw??? My eldest sister really want to clean them up, but it's too much!!!
****************************************
After cross over this bridge then you'll see a Chinese temple in front of you!!!
****************************************

ReplyDeleteI've long more to go le...not just one two post can explain everything mah!!! Hehe!!!
DeleteAhhhh!!!! A map! Can't remember where I stayed. Around Coral Bay, I think as they were talking about the VVIP party at the exclusive island across the bay - Pangkor Laut where they invited the late Pavorotti to sing.
ReplyDeleteI saw a lot of hotel over there, maybe you were staying one of those hotel lo!!! I also can't remember...and forgot to take picture!!!

Delete
Deleteawww, very interesting!! so you will be walking between the beach and the Giam Island huh?? it's kind of a nice experience, i remember doing the same thing (but cannot remember where already) a couple of times.. and it's like, wow, amazing to walk in the middle of the sea leh~~
ReplyDeleteaih.. garbage everywhere litters everywhere rubbish everywhere.. looks like it's so common in this bolehland.. and people seems to be not so civilized at all huh?? just for their own convenience and never thought of being considerate to others at all..
DeleteYes...but I failed...swt~~~ don't talk about it, will explain it later!!! Later few more post I'll show it, then maybe you can recall some from it then!!!
DeleteHahaha, yup!!! Not only the beach, like normal roadside also can see a lot!!! =[
It was so long ago that i went there. during my school days i think.
ReplyDeleteIf the temple with the Great wall of China decoration still exist? is that the one you went to?
Yep, still exist and I went there too, but this's not the same temple!!!
DeleteIt's norm that people throw rubbish everywhere. Saw in airport people before board the plane they simply leave the mineral waters bottle on the seat though tong sampah is just a few steps away
ReplyDeleteBut the silver lining is that it also opens up opportunity for those less fortunate people who pick up those empty plastic bottles and cans to sell .
I saw it too, but the mean thing is to do recycle la, is okay la...let them, is hard to compromise them not to do this and that, they always have a lot of excuses for it!!! =[
Delete
DeleteLike the tree photo :)
ReplyDeleteMe too!!! =]
DeleteThe tree is quite interesting! But the beach is kinda dirty eh? Haiz~
ReplyDeleteWhat to do...sweat...there're a lot more about it coming on!!! =[
Delete
DeleteMust be nice to be able to walk to the smaller island during the special time. I like your elder sister recycling principle. Can pick up those empty plastic bottles to recycle.
ReplyDeleteShe always like that, her car boot always full of recycle stuffs!!! =]
Delete 。。
Delete
Delete
Delete

Deleteokay, okay!!! =]
Delete
Delete
DeletePangkor Island is a nice place but it seems to be dirty at the beach.
ReplyDeleteJust apart only, but what I wanted to say is not the beach is dirty, is just to tell people should be aware when was around there!!! =]
Delete
