Finally, here's the last two post, felt so lazy or maybe I should say I just lazy to write food post because I'm not good at it at all......as for me food might become excreta in the end no matter what you had before......Ops...seems like a bit out of topic...but if I wrote something like wanton noodles, I'm definitely an expert, if you're around Kepong, please do let me know, I would take you to the best wanton noodles that I always had at least once in a week!!!

最后两篇，最后两篇。。。快没有力气了。。。应该说写吃的最没有力气，我口味是真的随便到吃过什么都忘记的，反正过几个钟后都会变成排泄物嘛。。。Opss，好像过火了。。。但除了云吞面，哇哈哈哈哈～～～ 来甲洞要吃好吃的云吞面找我就对了，吃云吞面我就很讲究，因为从小吃到大。。。我还可以天天都吃一样的，呵呵！！！
Back to the topic, this restaurant just on the right hand side of the hotel......assume that we're there early and it's not that many people......but......

话说回来。。。我们到酒店出来的右手边的饭店用餐，去的时候没有很多人。。。但是。。。
Compare what we had the other night, this's much easy, we got to choose what dish we want, not like the previous set meal!!! (Is funny that when I was taking picture of this, my sister kept on saying "be quick, the staff keep on staring at you!" Wondering how those people take picture of the menu, as for me, I always felt very awkward to do that duh~~~)
I took this picture around 6.18pm and picture of the first dish was around 7.35pm......we had waited for more than one hour and a half, have no idea why do we have so much patient on it......as we were waiting there's a guy was yelling "Saya sudah tunggu dua jam!" Looks we're not the only one who got to wait so long......

这个比较好，有菜单可以一样一样点，很清楚只是少了图片而已（想说我拍这张照片的时候，我大姐一直说“好了没有，那个人一直在看着你啊！” 搞得我超级尴尬害怕，拍完后立刻把相机收起来，都不敢抬头忘那个人啊～～～）
拍这个菜单的照片的时候是六点十八分。。。拍第一道菜的时候是七点三十五分。。。哇！！！ 足足等了一个小时多，记得那时候我们点菜的时候听见一个人进来喊“Saya sudah tunggu dua jam!” 那时候我们都不以为然，直到到我们的时候，我们才一直说“不会我们也要等这么久吧？” 真的还蛮考耐性的。。。还好当时我是全神贯注的在淘宝，都没有看时间过去，大侄儿在玩手机，大姐，大姐夫和妈妈都在痴痴的等。。。
宫保虾蛄 (Kung Pao Mantis Prawn) ~ Rm30

油小白菜 (Cabbage) ~ Rm14

For us, all the food are quite delicious, but it could be because we had waited for long enough for the food so everything to us are very tasty (after I got back, checked some reviews online, spotted that lots of people complained they got to wait like almost 2 hours for the food and some said the food is nice but some said no......so I think it really depends on personal demands on food) After that we did discuss that maybe the chef should cook all dish in a roll instead cook it separately table by table lo!!!

综合所有的食物只可以说“很好吃”，等了一个小时多的我们，真的没有白费掉，吃完后我们都一直直呼说好吃，等这么久都值得（但事后到网上看评论全部投诉说等太久，有些说好吃，有些又说不好吃，“好吃”这口味看个人的。。。）还有我们也有讨论到其实这家饭店最大的问题就是上菜方面，他们应该是一桌一道菜一道菜煮而且应该只有一两位厨师而已，基本来说厨师应该都会煮几桌的菜，然后才来分分量吧！！！
The 2 x RM4 is for two pack of "xia bing" because we were too hungry, so my eldest brother in law got it as "appetizing meal"!!!

The price so cheap meh? Or I see wrongly? Maybe it's just my problem, but I don't really seem to understand the receipt, hehe.. Eh, the chicken soup got wanton inside ahh? Nampak sedap... Oohh, I love that homemade tofu.. Lastly, my favourite, the prawn ball with (extra) mayonaise !!! Yummzzz

DeleteFood looks good. I also take photos of the menu or the receipt sometimes - can remember the dishes names and the prices better...but I may not show in my blog. For personal reference only.

Deletesounds familiar lah this restaurant, maybe the last time we went to Pangkor we ate there before.. but then hor, a lot of people meh?? need to wait for 2 hours?? that is indeed very slow lor, somemore they don't have a lot of choices on the menu also mah, so i guess the "come come go go" also cooked those few dishes, should be able to cook them in 5 minutes even with their eyes closed.. :D
ReplyDeletecannot comment on the food lah because i didn't eat them, but then i find the price quite expensive woh.. and are you sure that one is herbal chicken soup ah?? errr, looks more like wantan soup to me, haha!! but then looking at their price, RM12 for herbal chicken soup, surely won't use a lot of "hor liao" lor, correct ah?? :p

At Jinjiang, near the "big longkang"(don't know the specify name, my mom called like that since I was young) there!!! Maybe can say on the way to Taman Nanyang, you'll see a lot of cars turn to the left one!!!
wah, really very "helpful" information lor, haha!! eih, next time you go makan there, take photos and note down the name and location lah.. then write a post to recommend, then we all can go mah.. :p

Is it because each dishes are cooked individual portion for the customers instead of all same orders cooked in one batch?
Yes...that's what my mom and brother in law discuss, if he/she cook together should be more faster then can serve many table!!!

I think so...as they don't have many restaurant in that island...just this and the first one I had on my first night there!!!

DeleteTo me, i think the price very expensive lo ...... Just 6 pieces of tofu cost RM20 ! Maybe tourist area.....but to wait for the food for more than an hour is a bit 'OVER' la. Hahaha....I don't mind to queue up for good food, but not waiting for more than an hour for the food to be served. Many ppl at the restaurant at that time ?
